Job Specifications:
SGB-SMIT POWER MATLA is looking for a suitably qualified artisan. The candidate will be responsible for assembling tank parts, cutting and making all brackets associated with tanks and transformer parts. Flexible to work on varieties of lathes and milling machines. Doing fair amount of tack welding, rolling and grinding parts where required. Adherance to the Health and Safety Act is imperative, the candidate must also work according to SGB-SMIT POWER MATLA quality standards, follow procedures and instructions as well as work shifts and overtime as and when required..
Personal Specification:
- Grade 12/N3;
- Qualified Boilermaker with red seal;
- Minimum of 1 year‘s experience working as a qualified artisan;
- Ability to read and Interpret drawings;
- Willingness to work shifts and overtime as and when required.
