SGB-SMIT POWER MATLA is looking for a suitably qualified artisan.
The candidate will be responsible for assembling conservators, consoles, headers and dry boxes associated with transformer tanks and relevant equipment parts. Other work includes tack welding, rolling and grinding parts where required. Adherance to the Health and Safety Act is imperative, the candidate must also work according to SGB-SMIT POWER MATLA quality standards, follow procedures and instructions as well as work shifts and overtime as and when required.
- Grade 12/N3;
- Qualified Boilermaker with red seal;
- Minimum of 1 year‘s experience working as a qualified artisan;
- Ability to read and Interpret drawings;
- Willingness to work shifts and overtime as and when required.
