SGB-SMIT POWER MATLA is seeking two energetic people as general workers in the paintshop department within the Large Power Transformer factory in Pretoria.

Job Specifications:

The successful candidates will be responsible to send paint work for preparation for the following next colour on transformer tanks and covers according to the relevant work instructions. Assist in assembling tanks and covers in the pre-assembly area. Adherance to the Health and Safety Act is imperative, the candidates must also work according to SGB-SMIT POWER MATLA quality standards, follow procedures and instructions as well as work shifts and overtime as and when required.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Grade 12/N3;
  • Minimum 1 years‘ experience in a manufacturing industry will be an added advantage;
  • Ability to read and Interpret drawings;
  • Must be very hands on with a can do attitude.
