SGB-SMIT POWER MATLA is looking for a suitably qualified machine operator.
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating different machinery from a band saw, plate shot blast and Guillotine. Cleaning and grinding of parts as and when requested. Adherence to the Health and Safety Act is imperative, the candidate must also work according to SGB-SMIT POWER MATLA quality standards, follow procedures and instructions as well as work shifts and overtime as and when required.
- Grade 12/N3;
- Minimum 3 years‘ experience in a manufacturing environment (specifically a steel manufacturing workshop);
- Ability to read and Interpret drawings;
- Must be very hands on with a can do attitude;
- Must be flexible (ability to operate different machinery).
