Reporting to: Head of Projects

SGB-SMIT POWER MATLA is looking for a suitably qualified project manager to manage the projects activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing customer orders through professional communication and ensuring that the product ordered or being manufactured conforms to customer’s specifications, delivered on time and within the planned budget. Additionally the candidate must develop and maintain healthy customer relations.

Key Performance Indicators (KPI’S)

  • Customer Satisfaction – Project reporting, project communication and after sales management.
  • On-time delivery – Project risk management and coordination.
  • Completion within the budget parameters – project control
  • Cash flow management
  • Management of outsourced resources
  • Participate in project sales/review customer specifications.
  • Manage/lead project team to ensure project success and team spirit.

Personal Specification:

  • Grade 12/N3;
  • National Diploma in Industrial, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years in Project Management experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Computer literacy in various software programs including MS Projects.
