SGB-SMIT POWER MATLA a leading brand in the manufacture and supply of transformers is looking for a mechanical engineering experiential trainee for our Distribution Transformer operation in Cape Town.
Job Specifications:
Overview of responsibilities:
The successful candidate will assist with creating production drawings complying with customer specifications/requirements. Practical training for P1/P2 National Diploma – Mechanical Engineering students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce mechanical designs with the assistance of a Mechanical Designer
- Alter existing drawings on Autocad using set guidelines, procedures and instructions
- Compiling of BOM with the assistance of the Senior Mechanical Designer
- Administration
Qualifications & Experience:
- A minimum N6 Mechanical Engineering
