Department: Quality – Pretoria
Overview
A career opportunity exists for a Quality Control Inspector within the Quality Department based at the Pretoria Power Factory. The candidate will be required to plan and lead quality control inspections, conduct quality control inspections at the Active Part and Tanking departments within the Power Transformer factory. Complete sigma cards and maintain all quality records, develop and sustain a best practice quality culture in the organisation and prepare fault lists and verify implementation of improvements.
Qualifications and Experience
- Grade 12/ N3
- At least 5 years of power transformer Active part manufacturing experience, quality control inspections and quality management systems.
Core Competencies
- Good assertiveness with strong interpersonal skills.
- Outstanding organizational, time-management abilities and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated and energetic person with strong ethics and reliable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (written & verbal).
- Effective change management skills.
- MS Office proficiency – specifically MS Word and MS Excel.
