A career opportunity exists for three suitably qualified transformer Pre-Assemblers within the Fabrication Department based at the Pretoria West Power factory.
Job Specification
The candidates will be responsible for assembling studs, valves, o-rings, gaskets, etc on transformer main tanks, covers and auxiliary parts. Cut and fit gaskets to main lid frames . Adherence to the Health and Safety Act is imperative, the candidates must also work according to SGB-SMIT POWER MATLA quality standards, follow procedures and instructions.
Qualifications & Experience
- Grade 12/N3
- Basic knowledge in transformer assembly and hand tool operation
- A minimum of 2 years in a similar production environment
